your account gets banned if you click the ads for yourself:))

Clicking the ads yourself is also fraud so you can get arrested in extreme cases

As for making money on adsense, you will only make money on the obscure keywords as all the obvious keywords are taken by the big corporations and websites

I understand your concern pdmac8, and you are correct as well. But there's no reason to quit it. Adsense can still pay your bills if you use it correctly, doesn't matter if you're promoting a free iPod, like everyone else is. Your biggest concern should be you're average per click, as a hear newly created adsense accounts today make less than an account created 3-4 years ago. Google Adsense is problably the most popular of all PPC programs and it will be for a long time.

I use google adsense, but I haven't really had a sucessful site to allow me to earn enough money to get paid yet. I am getting a little traffic but I just need people to actually click the ad's ;)
