All well known search engines are good for different things. You may not be able to find recipe on baking chocolate chip cookies on Google, and be able to find it on the first page of Bing. Don't rely on just one website!
I feel google is simple and apt for most of the searches. If you are unable to get what you needed form google, then may be you can try for other search engines like yahoo, msn etc.,
google is definitely the best. They are the biggest company, with the biggest budget, lead by the best teams. Like Tina Turner would say, they are simply the best.
Google hands down. Google seems to have the most relevent site whenever I search for something. Other search engines, I usually have to search past the first page to find exactly what I am looking for.
